Snowpocalipse

It’s day 4 Portland’s snowpocalipse.

Let me recap my situation:

Day 1: Is snowing! It’s so pretty! I love it. Day 2: It’s still snowing – what to do today? Day 3: I’m a sloth. Haven’t showered and I found a tv show to binge on Hulu Day 4: The snow is still here. Melt already!

Today’s the day… I’m heading outside for some fresh air. The streets are still filled with snow and slush. It’s the ultimate obstacle course of hopping over snow piles while trying to avoid the ice falling from the trees above. The melting ice cracks so loudly as if it’s midnight on fourth of july.

As I walk around I’m noticing the beauty in everything icy. Literally frozen in time, the trees, bushes and bikes have become frozen art.

It’s going to be in the 40s all week and this snowpocalipse will be a memory by Friday and life will go back to our new normal.

I’m going to enjoy watching the snow melt from my apartment…. until next winter.
